Nicole joined Vancouver Foundation in 2002 where she is Manager, Donor Services. In this role Nicole provides customer service to advisors of Donor Advised Funds including preparing research and direction for granting options. In addition to working with individual fund advisors, she manages Giving Well, Vancouver Foundation’s Giving Circle for women and stewards 35 BC Community Foundations for whom Vancouver Foundation manages endowments.

Nicole received her formal education in Berlin, Germany where she completed a university program in Non-Profit Management. After graduating from university, she moved to Canada and worked with Save the Children for almost three years. It was here that Nicole first discovered her passion for donor services and fundraising.

Born and raised in Berlin, (East) Germany, Nicole had an opportunity to visit British Columbia to learn English before entering university. It was there that she met her best friend, now husband, and father of her two children. When parenting her children leaves any spare time, Nicole enjoy tending to her garden where she is learning to grow some food and flowers (but mostly buttercups). As a family, Nicole, her children and her husband enjoy travelling to their cabin on Mayne Island with Zuko, their yellow lab.
