Ken Kempcke is an expert prospect researcher and donor management professional.
Ken has over 25 years seasoning as a prospect researcher, grant writer, donor relations specialist, database administrator, journalist, editor, and academic librarian. He has published numerous articles in reference works and professional journals, produced thousands of prospect profiles, and played a significant role in successful fundraising campaigns across Western Canada and the Unites States.
At ViTreo, Ken has led major research and prospect analysis projects with the National Music Centre, Calgary Public Library, Edmonton Public Library, University of Alberta, Calgary Chamber of Commerce, Lakeland College, YMCA Calgary, RESOLVE Campaign, Manning Foundation, and KROK University (Ukraine).
Before joining ViTreo, Ken worked as a prospect researcher, grant writer, database administrator, and donor relations specialist at Lethbridge College and the University of Nevada.
Ken has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Eastern Illinois University, a Master of Arts in American Studies from Purdue University, and a Master of Library and Information Science from Indiana University. A long-standing member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement, he also serves on the board of directors of the Kamloops Heritage Railway.
