Jill thrives on creating meaningful connections, leveraging creativity and empowering teams to achieve desired outcomes. Her proven track record includes contributions across a broad range of sectors including non-profit, energy, retail, agriculture and agency work. She served as Director, Philanthropy and Engagement with the Alzheimer Society of Calgary (2012-18). Her integrated and strategic approach to philanthropy, communication and marketing led to increased revenues and an expanded stakeholder base. She was also engaged in Dementia Network Calgary (a collective impact initiative) and in creating the dementia strategy for Alberta.

She has been vocal as an impact speaker with United Way and provided a feature story for the 2017 “I am Calgary” campaign.

Being an avid kite surfer, Jill must devote time to the wind and waves in places like Vancouver Island and Maui’s North Shore. She can land jumps of up to 14 feet (which means she could probably jump over an elephant, but not a giraffe). She is devoted to her two dogs, a pug and a rescue hound that she’s taught to run on the treadmill.
